How to Make Soan Papdi Recipe in Hindi
For the Soan Papdi Recipe, first heat ghee in a non stick pan. After the ghee is heated, add all purpose flour and gram flour and fry till it turns golden brown in color.
Add cardamom powder to the mixture and mix well. After this, switch off the gas and cover the pan, so that the mixture remains lukewarm. Now syrup has to be made for Soan Papdi.
For this, take sugar (sugar) in a vessel and pour enough water in it, so that the sugar sinks. Put the pot of sugar on the gas and boil it. Stir the sugar with the help of a spoon, so that it dissolves quickly. When the sugar dissolves, add milk to it.
Cook the sugar syrup till it becomes two string syrup. While the sugar syrup is being prepared, grease a non stick pan with ghee. After that keep it aside.
To check the syrup, take out the syrup in a small spoon. Cool it by blowing it. Then take it between two fingers and try it. If two strings are forming between both the fingers, then it means that the syrup is ready. If two strings are not forming in the syrup, then cook it a little more.
When the syrup is ready, dissolve the color in it and stir it, it will turn the syrup yellow. Now put the gram flour mixture in the syrup and mix it while stirring it with a spoon.
When the mixture starts to thicken, turn it on a greased plate and spread it all over the plate with the help of a spoon. Add chopped pistachio almonds on top and press with a spoon.
Now your Soan Papdi is ready. Cut it into desired shape with the help of a knife and use it after cooling. Keep it in an air tight box and use it for a month.
