Sattu – 1 cup

Onion – 2

Green chili – 2 to 3

Cumin – 1/4 tsp

Asafoetida – 1 pinch

Red chili powder – 1/4 tsp

salt – as per taste

Oil or Ghee – for frying the paratha

Method of making || How to make sattu paratha for weight loss – sattu paratha recipe

  • To make sattu paratha, finely chop the onion and green chillies.
  • Add all the spices red chili powder, salt, finely chopped green chilies, asafoetida, cumin, finely chopped onions and 2 teaspoons of ghee to the sattu and mix all the ingredients well.
  • Make a dough of dough by filling the stuffing made of sattu in the middle of the dough and make a round by pressing the stuffing with your thumb.
  • After this, roll the paratha with a rolling pin and make it round.
  • Heat the tawa on high flame, when the tawa becomes hot, then put the paratha and roast it well by pouring ghee from both the sides.
  • Hot sattu paratha is ready, serve it with fresh curd or freshly made lassi.
